From WCoR: Initial thoughts about the residency

Some initial thoughts about this residency:

1) This is rad
2) Never thought about the need to freeze all wood and cloth that stays at the museum so as to not ruin artwork with bugs.
3) Large institutions have many resources and also have established ways of doing things. It will be interesting to utilize these resources while not stepping on too many toes with new ways of working.
4) The museum is full of artwork, each one inspired by something different. I am most inspired by the museum as a publicly-supported institution. It OURS. Does it look like something “we” own? Who makes the decisions? Who should? Is it reflective of “our” values? Does it work for the residents who own it?
5) Everyone who works here has been so nice. That is a beautiful feeling.
